Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 – Pick up from Mfuwe Airport to Flatdogs Camp.

3 nights – Flatdogs Camp– Accommodation in a luxury safari tent with a thatched roof for extra shade, ensuite facilities (hot shower, flush toilet, and basin), full-sized beds with sprung mattresses, large mosquito nets and all bedding and towels provided.  The tents have electric lights, a fan and charging points for camera batteries (UK type plugs and sockets).  There is also a room safe and tea & coffee making facilities. The camp also has ana ala carte restaurant, and you can have your meals at any time.

Activities Included

Morning drives and night drives

All day drive (this is optional), this drive includes a picnic and exploring the Nsefu sector which is on the different part of the south Luangwa National Park.

Day 4 – Road transfer from South Luangwa to Malawi.

4 nights – Makuzi Beach Lodge in Chintheche northern Malawi.  Accommodation in an ensuite chalet with a fan, kettle, mosquito nets and gauze, and en-suite bathrooms with shower.

Activities Included

kayaking, snorkelling, swimming, spice tour and fishing and bird watching tour.

Day 8- Transfer back to either Lilongwe Airport (Option for transfer to South Luangwa is available).

Green Season package run from March to June, November to January

Peak Season package run from July to October.

The Itinerary includes ensuite accommodation, full board, games drives, water activities, tourism levies, and park entry fees, airport transfers and cross boarder transfers. The itinerary does not include tourist Visas, drinks and any extra activities in Malawi.
