PROMOTING CONSERVATION THROUGH SPORTS
Bushride Travel, as a local business in South Luangwa, we have a social corporate responsibility to Luangwa valley community by helping the local people benefit from tourism. Our support programs are sustainable and long lasting without affecting the local environment negatively. One of the areas we look at is sporting activities. We are proud to say that we are among the supporters and sponsors of a local football team called Malambo United football club and Bushride Academy FC.
We support football because it helps the youths to stay healthy and physically fit and most importantly football keeps them busy by staying away from bad activities such as poaching and beer drinking. When Kay was appointed as head coach, he has helped the team into quarter finals for FAZ(Football Association of Zambia) Tournament and lifted the team out of relegation. The team is now playing FAZ East Division 1 (2021/22 season) after finishing runners-up in the just ended FAZ Division 2.
